The main focus of Joel's technique is starting off with building a great relationship with your dog... and that is there the BOND WITH YOUR HEART part comes in. This simply means use any means necessary to build a great relationship and love with your dog. At the same time when it comes to the training of your dog, don't get emotional about it. Use your head and train your dog rationally and not emotionally using a balanced dog training approach. This means that techniques are going to vary based on the dog and situation.
